Returning for the fourth time since its inauguration in 2011, the 2014 Governors Ball brought a hell of a show and offered concert goers insane street art.
For the first time EVER, the festival’s producers at Founders Entertainment teamed up with local artists to promote NYC’s highly acclaimed street art. They feature some big industry names like RWK (Robots Will Kill), Fumeroism, Icy and Sot, Joseph Meloy, Adam Dare, WhisBe, John Paul O’Grodnick, Gum Shoe, and so much more. I met with Varghese Chacko and Lola Sherwood, the curators of The Mural Project, and they said that they are already thinking about GovBall 2015.
Artist Joseph Meloy said that the best part of having his work at the festival was “the enormous exposure as well as seeing all the love on Instagram” (@vandal_expressionism).
